Summer is really a magical time of the year.
There is so much to love about it.
I love the warmth of the sun against my skin and the coolness of a summer nighttime breeze.
It is truly a season that is full of joy and happiness.
For me, it comes a very close second to Christmas (in terms of being my favorite time of the year).
What’s not to love about a season that is filled with outdoor activities?
Planting beautiful flowers, having picnics on the beach, and swimming in our pool say “summer” to me.
What I love most about this season is my favorite outdoor summer spot.
My summer happy place at home is in the back of the house on my covered lanai.
It is by far the best place to watch an afternoon thunderstorm or to relax at the end of the day.
The screened-in pool cage is great for keeping pests away as well.
This space sees activity throughout the entire year.
During the summer season, the two ceiling fans prove to be a must-have to stay cool and combat any humidity.
During winter months, the coffee table in this space serves a double purpose.
It is a cozy firepit to gather around and enjoy the warmth of a fire on those few cold nights.
Recently, we bought this outdoor sofa and I feel that it is one of the best purchases we’ve made!
It is super comfy and I may have taken a nap (or two) on it already. 😉
No matter the weather or season, my husband and I love coming out here to relax at the end of the day with a cup of coffee or a cocktail.
Above all, this is one more space I get to decorate…and you know how much I love to decorate!
So, you can see why this is my favorite outdoor summer spot. Yay!
