Looking for easy Father’s Day gifts that Dad will really like and that won’t break the bank? Oh, my goodness! Me too! I looked on a number of websites in search of for this very thing and do you know what I found? Mostly, #1 Dad coffee mugs, t-shirts, beer glasses and golf equipment. What about dads that don’t golf or drink beer? There’s only so many #1 Dad coffee mugs and t-shirts a guy can take!
Behold! (I always wanted to say that 😉) Behold! I bring you a hand degreaser you make yourself for little money that works VERY well and leaves Dad’s hands soft, not dry.
My husband works very hard on keeping out home in shape and my son loves to work on his truck and his garden in the summer. Their hands are always dried out from using chemical degreasers. This hand cleaner is for these men.
All you need is a few ingredients you all ready have on hand as well as a couple you can get using the links below.

Ingredients:
¼ cup Baking Soda
¼ cup Sugar
¾ Blue Dawn Dish Soap
1 Tbsp Bentonite Clay
10 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil (for anti-bacterial properties)
Tools:
¼ cup Dry Measuring Cup
1-2 cup Liquid Measuring Cup
1 Tbsp Measuring Spoon
Glass Bowl (or any non-porous bowl)
Sifter (optional)
A Reusable Plastic 2 Cup Container with a Tight Fitting Lid
Sift together the dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed. This step is optional. I made it with sifted ingredients and without. I have found no difference in the way the finished product comes out.
Next, add the Dawn and the Tea Tree Essential Oil. Stir well and that’s it! Easy huh?
Once your hand degreaser has set awhile, it will separate due to the clay. Just have your greasy loved one stir it up with his finger before using. This stuff works like magic and will leave your man’s hands soft! Bonus for the both of you! 😉
