beautiful fall-inspired book page wreath

I love crafting with items I already have. This beautiful fall-inspired book page wreath is perfect for my home decor!

Book pages are just the right thickness to use on projects as this. I do want to add that the book I am using was already falling apart and in disarray. I would not be able to live with myself if I destroyed a book on purpose. Books are becoming extinct in this digital age…sad! 🥺

You might want to look at how I made my fall-inspired book page and brown paper leaf garland. It matches this wreath perfectly! I am loving the neutral fall colors this year!

First I made a template out of cardstock to use to trace my leaves on the book page paper. I used plastic leaves I already had from a fall garland. You can use real leave from your yard to make a pattern also! Win!

I used Elmer’s glue to add glitter around the edges of my leaves. It really made the leaves pop! I think it will add just enough “sparkle” to the wreath!

Disclaimer: Only use glitter if you don’t mind wearing it, eating it and getting it into your eyes for all eternity from this day forward! 🤣

I used two different shapes to add a little something extra. Which is perfect because I have been called “extra” most of my life! Ha!

I added faux acorns and fall berries to my wreath. The colors go really well with the glitter!

Laying out the desired design. Unfortunately, I was so excited to get to glueing that I forgot to take pictures of the process.

I used hot glue on the low setting to attach the leaves to the grapevine frame. You could probably use a high setting to do this. You won’t get as much glue strings if you do. 😉 I would not use a styrofoam wreath blank for this project because the glue will melt your frame.

Isn't this GORGEOUS?!

And here is the finished piece. I think it turned out absolutely amazing! Plus it was super easy and inexpensive to make! Yay!

Hi, I’m Danielle!

I am the designer, writer and diy’er behind this blog. I enjoy decorating my home for practically nothing by doing most of the work myself, finding new and imaginative ways to make it beautiful and by watching for killer sales. I find humor almost anywhere and can laugh at myself through it all. I have learned that most projects don’t go exactly as intended, but can be more beautiful than the original plan.
