Two Pour Girls

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending an art open house by Two Pour Girls. The artists, Paula Trehey and Sheila (Angel) Counterman both have a passion for “making the world a more beautiful place.” They began their paint pouring endeavor this year during the COVID-19 Stay-at-Home-Order and found themselves making too many pieces to keep all to themselves. Thus, the birth of Two Pour Girls and this Art Open House.

Paula, originally from Chicago, has lived in Florida since 2004. She has always liked creating things and over the years has owned a couple of businesses in Weeki Wachee.

Angel has lived in Florida for almost two years.  She is originally from Ohio and has always found art to be therapeutic.  Besides working with paints, Angel also offers home organizing and landscape design services.

There were so many beautiful pieces in this Art show including picture frames, one-of-a-kind vases, tables and jewelry (handcrafted by Angel’s husband Rich).
Houseplants in beautiful paint pour pots were on display on the lanai and yummy treats (also made by Rich) were free to all who came.

It was wonderful to see people having such a good time shopping, eating and talking (six feet apart).

If you live in the area and would like to contact one of these beautiful ladies, shoot me a message below and I will “hook you up!”

Hi, I’m Danielle!

I am the designer, writer and diy’er behind this blog. I enjoy decorating my home for practically nothing by doing most of the work myself, finding new and imaginative ways to make it beautiful and by watching for killer sales. I find humor almost anywhere and can laugh at myself through it all. I have learned that most projects don’t go exactly as intended, but can be more beautiful than the original plan.
